- Bodega Bay, near Sonoma Coast State Park is a Good place to Whale Watch from Dec - April. It is located near the Sonoma Coast State Beach.
- Fort Bragg Whale Watching festival takes place the 3rd weekend of March.
- Mendocino
- Trinidad
- The King Range - 4000 ft high cliffs overlooking the sea is considered the best areas for Gray Whale watching from November to May.
